The 3M™ Trizact™ Cloth Belt 217EA measures 3-1/2" x 15-1/2" and features A16 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary microreplication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral and coated on a J weight rayon backing. This design allows the abrasive pyramids to wear consistently, exposing fresh sharp mineral continuously, resulting in a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications involving coated and bonded materials and is primarily used in manufacturing industries.
