The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 1/2" x 24" and features A6 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It uses proprietary micro replication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are shaped into tiny pyramids and coated on an X weight cloth backing. As the abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continuously exposed, resulting in a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. The belt is designed for applications such as blending, finishing, and polishing across various industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
