The 3M™ TriSect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 2-1/2" x 72" and features A16 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids and coated on an X weight cloth backing. As these abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral surfaces are continually exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and predictable, fine finish. This cloth belt is suitable for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used across industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
