The 3M™ TriSect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 6" x 132" and features A30 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are shaped into tiny pyramids and coated onto an X weight cloth backing. This design ensures that as the abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh sharp mineral is continually exposed, resulting in a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used in various industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
