The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 6" x 168" with A100 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral, which are coated on an X weight cloth backing. This design allows fresh, sharp mineral to be continually exposed as the pyramids wear, resulting in a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. This belt is suitable for applications including blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used across industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
