The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 6 inches by 168 inches and features A16 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral coated on an X weight cloth backing. This design ensures that as the abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed, providing a consistent cut and predictable, fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used in industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
