The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ SE surface conditioning belt measures 3-1/2" by 15-1/2" and is constructed of resin-reinforced non-woven fiber, featuring coarse grade aluminum oxide abrasive for high cut-rate and long life. Designed to resist loading and avoid under-cutting or gouging, the belt maintains superior edge durability with a woven fabric scrim embedded in the nylon structure for additional strength and durability, making it ideal for edge work, deburring, and efficient blending of all metal types. The aluminum oxide mineral is known for its toughness, self-fracturing to expose fresh cutting edges, and is suitable for a wide variety of substrates including ferrous alloys. The belt is engineered for use in low stretch applications and is effective in rapid grinding, sanding, and finishing on various surfaces, with small grooves on the belt preventing clogging during use. It is applicable for blending, blending corners, cleaning, contour finishing, deburring, fine finishing, flat finishing, and setting.
