The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ surface conditioning belt measures 2 inches by 34 inches with medium grit aluminum oxide abrasive, designed for removing coarse grindlines, mill marks, or small burrs left by cutting tools or conventional abrasives. These abrasive belts come in various widths and lengths to fit a wide range of belt sanding tools used on both wood and metal surfaces. 3M™ offers a broad selection suitable for most industrial belt sanders, including wide belts for large wood panels, medium-width belts for edge or portable sanders ideal for cabinet doors, and narrow belts for metalworking file tools accessing small areas or inside corners. The belt features aluminum oxide, a hard, blocky mineral known for a high cut rate and long life, suitable for rapid grinding, sanding, and finishing on various surfaces.
