The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ surface conditioning belt measures 5-3/8" x 11-5/8" and is designed with CRS grit aluminum oxide abrasive mineral, providing a hard, blocky structure for a high cut-rate and extended life. These SC belts effectively remove coarse grindlines, mill marks, and small burrs left by cutting tools or conventional abrasives and are compatible with various belt sanding tools for applications on both wood and metal. Available in multiple widths and lengths to fit most industrial belt sanders, the belts serve different purposes: wide belts for sanding large wood panels on wide belt sanders, medium-width belts for portable or edge sanders used in blending wood pieces like cabinet doors, and narrow belts used with file tools in metalworking for accessing small areas or inside corners.
