The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 5" x 148" and features A45 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids on an X weight cloth backing. As the pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and predictable, fine finish. This belt is suitable for applications including blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used across various industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
