The 3M™ Trisect™ Cloth Belt 237AA measures 5" x 73" and features A45 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral coated on an X weight cloth backing. This design ensures that as the abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continuously exposed, providing a consistent cut and predictable, fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used across various industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
