The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 6 inches by 274 inches and features A100 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids and coated on an X weight cloth backing. As the pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continuously exposed to provide a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. This belt is suitable for applications including blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is commonly used in industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
