The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 6 inches by 300 inches and features A100 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral and coated onto an X weight cloth backing. As the pyramids wear down, fresh sharp mineral is continuously exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and a predictable fine finish. This belt is suitable for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used across industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
