The 3M™ Trisect™ Cloth Belt 237AA measures 4 inches by 168 inches and features A30 grit aluminum oxide abrasive material. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are shaped into tiny pyramids and coated onto an X weight cloth backing. This design allows the abrasive pyramids to wear in a way that consistently exposes fresh, sharp mineral, producing a predictable cut and fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used in industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
