The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 4" x 90" and features A80 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are shaped into tiny pyramids and coated on an X weight cloth backing. As these pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp abrasive mineral is continually exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and predictable, fine finish. This belt is suitable for blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding applications. It is used across industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
