The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 1" x 12 1/2" and features aluminum oxide A16 grit abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral coated on an X weight cloth backing. This design ensures that as the abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed, providing a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications such as blending, finishing, and polishing, and is used in industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
