The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 3/8" x 12" and features aluminum oxide A100 grit. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral, then coated on an X weight cloth backing. As these abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continuously exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and predictable, fine finish. This belt is suitable for applications including blending, finishing, and polishing across industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
