The 3M™ Trizact™ Cloth Belt 307EA measures 2" x 132" with A16 grit aluminum oxide as its abrasive and resin structure, designed to break down under medium pressure to maintain fresh, sharp mineral cutting and deliver consistent finishes on hard metals such as carbon and stainless steel. The belt incorporates a grinding aid that helps prevent heat buildup, warping, and discoloration. It is built on a durable cloth backing, providing control, conformability, and effective medium-pressure grinding, while the resin bond enhances heat resistance and helps prevent delamination. The belt employs a film media splice, a thin film-joining media providing a strong, secure bond that minimizes chatter marks, ensuring smooth running and consistent finishing results. Proprietary Trizact™ abrasives produce a finer finish, achieve results faster, and last longer than conventional abrasive products, starting sharp and staying sharp for more predictable finishes and improved, consistent quality. The belts can last up to five times longer than conventional belts and offer precise finish control, allowing operators to reduce grinding sequences and process steps. The three-dimensional abrasive structures are uniformly distributed across the entire surface to ensure consistent performance and eliminate part-to-part variation. Primary applications include metalworking.
