The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 5" x 148" and features A30 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids and coated on an X weight cloth backing. As the abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral surfaces are continuously exposed to ensure a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. This cloth belt is designed for applications including blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is suitable for industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
