The 3M™ Trizact™ cloth belt 307EA measures 3" x 132" and features A30 grit aluminum oxide abrasive with a resin structure formulated to break down under medium pressure, maintaining fresh and sharp mineral cutting for consistent finishes on hard metals like carbon and stainless steel. The belt includes a grinding aid to help prevent heat buildup, warping, and discoloration. Constructed on a durable cloth backing, it provides control, conformability, and effective medium-pressure grinding. The resin-bonded abrasive enhances heat resistance and prevents delamination, while the belt employs a film media splice, a thin film-joining media that minimizes chatter marks for smooth running and consistent finishing results. Proprietary Trizact™ abrasives produce finer finishes faster and last longer than conventional abrasive products, starting sharp and staying sharp for predictable finishes and improved quality. These belts can last up to five times longer, enabling operators to reduce grade sequences and process steps. The three-dimensional abrasive structures are uniformly distributed over the surface, ensuring consistent performance and eliminating part-to-part variation.
