The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 3" x 24" and features A6 grit aluminum oxide abrasive particles. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral coated on an X weight cloth backing. As the abrasive pyramids wear, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed, resulting in a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications including blending, finishing, and polishing, and it serves industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
