The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 6 inches by 300 inches and features A45 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary Micro Replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral coated on an X weight cloth backing. As these abrasive pyramids wear, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed, allowing for a consistent cut and predictable, fine finish. This belt is designed for applications including blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used in industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
