The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 3-1/2" x 15-1/2" and features A16 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are shaped into tiny pyramids and coated on an X weight cloth backing. This design ensures that as the abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed, resulting in a consistent cut and predictable, fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications including blending, finishing, and polishing, and serves industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines. The product is provided as a cloth belt and includes the specified dimensions and abrasive properties to meet demanding finishing requirements.
