The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 6 inches by 375 inches and features A65 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids and coated on an X weight cloth backing. As these abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh sharp mineral is continually exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and a predictable fine finish. This belt is suitable for applications including blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used across industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
