The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 1" x 30" and features A160 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids and coated on an X weight cloth backing. As these abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed, enabling a consistent cut and predictable, fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications including blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It serves industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
