The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 1" x 42" with A160 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It features proprietary micro replication technology, forming micron-graded aluminum oxide particles into tiny pyramids coated on an X weight cloth backing. As the pyramids wear, fresh sharp mineral is continually exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. The belt is designed for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is suitable for use in industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
