The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 3" x 132" and features A6 grit aluminum oxide abrasive with a resin structure designed to break down under medium pressure, maintaining fresh, sharp mineral cutting for consistent finishes on hard metals such as carbon and stainless steel. It incorporates a grinding aid to reduce heat buildup, warping, and discoloration. Constructed on an X-weight durable cloth backing, the belt offers control, conformability, and effective medium-pressure grinding, with resin-bonded abrasive that enhances heat resistance and prevents delaminating. The belt uses a film media splice—a thin, strong film that securely joins the belt ends—minimizing chatter marks and ensuring smooth running and consistent finishing. Compared to conventional abrasives, 3M™ Trisect™ belts produce finer finishes, achieve results faster, last up to five times longer, and start and stay sharp for predictable, high-quality finishes. Their three-dimensional abrasive structures are uniformly distributed to ensure consistent performance and eliminate variability between discs.
