The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 307EA measures 3 inches by 132 inches and features an A45 grit aluminum oxide abrasive with a resin structure designed to break down under medium pressure, maintaining fresh, sharp cutting for consistent finishes on hard metals such as carbon and stainless steel. The belt incorporates a grinding aid that helps prevent heat buildup, warping, and discoloration, and is constructed on a durable cloth backing to provide control, conformability, and effective medium-pressure grinding. The resin bonded abrasive enhances heat resistance and prevents delaminating. A film media splice securely joins the belt ends with a thin film-joining media, minimizing chatter marks and ensuring smooth belt operation and consistent finishing. 3M™ Trisect™ abrasives produce a finer finish, achieve results faster, and last longer compared to conventional abrasive products, starting sharp and staying sharp for predictable and consistent quality. The belts can last up to five times longer than traditional belts and allow for precise finish control, reducing the need for multiple grade sequences, process steps, and abrasive products. The three-dimensional structures distributed uniformly across the abrasive surface ensure consistent performance and eliminate part-to-part variation.
