The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 307EA measures 3 inches by 132 inches and features A80 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral, which are then coated on a rayon backing. As these abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh and sharp mineral surfaces are continually exposed, resulting in a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. This belt is suitable for applications such as blending, finishing, and polishing, and is used in industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
