The 3M™ Trisect™ Cloth Belt 237AA measures 3 inches by 60 inches and features A16 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids and coated on an X weight cloth backing. As the abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh sharp mineral is continually exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. The belt is designed for applications including blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is suitable for use in industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
