The 3M™ Trisect™ Cloth Belt 217EA measures 1" x 64" and features A65 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids and coated on a J weight rayon backing. As these abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh sharp mineral is continually exposed to ensure a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. This cloth belt is designed for applications including blending, finishing, intermediate finishing, polishing, and shaping. It is suitable for use across industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
