The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 217EA measures 1" x 60" and features A45 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes 3M's proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are shaped into tiny pyramids and coated on a J weight rayon backing. As the abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh sharp mineral is continuously exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. This cloth belt is suitable for applications such as blending, finishing, intermediate finishing, polishing, and shaping. It is used across various industries, including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
