The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA, sized 1" x 60" with A45 grit aluminum oxide, utilizes proprietary Micro Replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral coated on an X weight cloth backing. This design allows fresh, sharp minerals to be continually exposed as the pyramids wear, resulting in a consistent cut and predictable, fine finish. The belt is designed for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It serves industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
