The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 1 inch by 60 inches and features A65 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids and coated on an X weight cloth backing. This design ensures that as the pyramids wear down, fresh sharp mineral is continuously exposed, resulting in a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used across industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
