The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 2" x 118" and features A30 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are shaped into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral and coated on an X weight cloth backing. As the abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continuously exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and predictable, fine finish. This belt is suitable for applications including blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is designed for use in industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
