The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 307EA measures 3 inches by 118 inches and features A16 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral and coated onto a rayon backing. As the pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed, resulting in a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. This belt is designed for applications such as blending, finishing, and polishing and is suitable for industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
