The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 4" x 48" and features A100 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It uses proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids and coated on an X weight cloth backing. As the pyramids wear, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. This belt is suitable for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is designed for use in industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
