The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 3/16" x 18" and features aluminum oxide A80 grit abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are shaped into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral and coated on an X weight cloth backing. As these abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral surfaces are continually exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. This belt is suitable for applications including blending, finishing, and polishing, and is used across multiple industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
