The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 3/4" x 18" and features aluminum oxide A100 grit. It uses proprietary micro replication technology wherein micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral that are coated on an X weight cloth backing. As these abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. The belt is designed for applications such as blending, finishing, and polishing across various industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
