The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 6 inches by 90 inches and features A45 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids and coated on an X weight cloth backing. As these pyramids wear down, fresh sharp mineral is continuously exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. This cloth belt is suitable for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used across various industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
