The 3M™ Trisect™ Cloth Belt 407EA measures 1-1/4" x 132" with an A60 grit made from silicon carbide, designed for low to medium pressure applications. It features a flexible JE-weight backing that allows the abrasive to conform to surface contours and imperfections, providing a superior finish. The abrasive incorporates a grinding aid to help it run cool, reducing the risk of discoloration or warping due to heat. Available in grit grades descending from A110 to A20, it utilizes patented 3M™ Micro Replication technology where small three-dimensional pyramid structures containing layers of mineral continuously expose fresh mineral with use, maintaining sharpness and consistent cutting performance. This abrasive is suitable for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, intermediate finishing, shaping, metalworking, builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
