The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 8" x 107" and features A16 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, wherein micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are shaped into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral and coated on an X weight cloth backing. This design allows as the pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral surfaces are continually exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications including blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It serves industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
