The 3M™ TriSect™ cloth belt 407EA measures 2 inches by 132 inches and features A90 grit silicon carbide, specifically designed for low to medium pressure applications. This cloth belt offers sharp cutting performance while conforming to the substrate, thanks to a flexible JE-weight backing that allows the abrasive to follow surface contours and adapt to imperfections for a superior finish. The abrasive incorporates a grinding aid that helps maintain a cool running temperature, minimizing the risk of discoloration or warping due to heat. It is available in a range of grades from A110 to A20. The belt utilizes 3M™’s patented micro replication technology, whereby small three-dimensional pyramid structures containing layers of mineral break down with use, continuously exposing fresh mineral and sustaining sharpness. This ongoing renewal reduces the need for abrasive replacement, increasing throughput and consistency in cut quality.
