The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 1" x 12" and features aluminum oxide A100 grit abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids and coated on an X weight cloth backing, allowing fresh, sharp mineral to be continually exposed as the pyramids wear, ensuring a consistent cut and a predictable fine finish. The belt is designed for applications such as blending, finishing, and polishing across industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
