The 3M™ TriSect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 12 inches by 98 inches and features A16 grit aluminum oxide abrasives formed into tiny pyramids using proprietary micro replication technology. These micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are coated on an X weight cloth backing, ensuring that as the abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh sharp mineral is continually exposed to deliver a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. This belt is suitable for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is widely used in industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
