The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 12" x 98" and features A45 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral and coated on an X weight cloth backing. This design allows the abrasive pyramids to wear down in a manner that continually exposes fresh, sharp mineral, ensuring a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used across various industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
