The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 307EA measures 3" x 132" and features A100 grit aluminum oxide abrasive with a resin structure designed to break down under medium pressure to maintain fresh, sharp mineral cutting for consistent finishes on hard metals such as carbon and stainless steel. The belt incorporates a grinding aid to prevent heat buildup, warping, and discoloration, and is constructed on a durable cloth backing that offers control, conformability, and effective medium-pressure grinding. Its resin bonded abrasive enhances heat resistance and prevents delaminating, while the film media splice—a thin film-joining media—provides a strong, secure bond joining the belt ends, minimizing chatter marks for smooth running and consistent finishing results. Proprietary Trisect™ abrasives produce a finer finish, achieve faster results, and last longer, starting sharp and staying sharp for predictable finishes and consistent quality. These belts can last up to five times longer than conventional belts and allow for precise finish control, enabling operators to reduce grade sequences, fewer process steps, and fewer abrasive products.
