The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 307EA measures 3 inches by 120 inches and features A45 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramid shapes and coated on a rayon backing. As these abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh sharp mineral is continually exposed, providing a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. The belt is designed for applications such as blending, finishing, and polishing, and is suitable for industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
