BSC Preferred's™ Series Direct Drive Exhaust Fans are designed for higher static pressure applications in factories, warehouses, and mills, specifically for the removal of fume, smoke, or dust. These fans feature cast aluminum spark-resistant propellers as standard and can be equipped with an explosion-proof motor for use in hazardous environments. They provide more CFM per dollar spent compared to belt-driven fans and require low maintenance. The fans are lighter in weight than belt-driven units, facilitating easier installation. Each unit includes a heavy-duty spun venturi panel with a rugged all-welded motor support structure and is suitable for both exhaust and intake air applications. Optional accessories include a fan and shutter mounting box, front and rear OSHA compliant guards, an all-aluminum gravity exhaust shutter, a motorized exhaust or intake shutter, and a weatherhood with birdscreen.
