BSC Preferred's™ Series Direct Drive Exhaust Fans are designed for higher static pressure applications in factories, warehouses, and mills, specifically for fume, smoke, or dust removal, providing dependable performance with minimal maintenance. The kit includes options for 2, 3, or 5 HP motors, and standard features include cast aluminum spark-resistant propellers. These fans are suitable for hazardous environments when equipped with an explosion-proof motor and deliver more CFM per dollar spent compared to belt-driven fans. The unit's lightweight construction facilitates installation, and it features a heavy-duty spun venturi panel with a rugged all-welded motor support structure. The fans can be utilized for both exhaust and intake air applications. The product is covered by a 12-month manufacturer's limited warranty for parts and labor. Optional accessories include a fan and shutter mounting box, front and rear OSHA-compliant guards, an all-aluminum gravity exhaust shutter, a motorized exhaust or intake shutter, and a weatherhood with a bird screen.
